Unity

Unity

Life is a project of self-realization. Not only. But also life is a compromise among people. Playing with words, life is a COMPROMISE, as to say a mutual promise or a reciprocal commitment for a common ground, for an agreement of peaceful coexistence. Unity and cohesion are bedrocks for this compromise.

But unity and cohesion have different premises. Indeed, unity pursues a condition of undivided identity, thus it is achieved through uniformity and homogeneity. Therefore, the solidity of unity rests on a correspondence of not just goals but means as well. Indeed, to be united people share intentions, feelings, tastes, views. This is the principle of adherence.

On the opposite side, cohesion does not acknowledge conformity. Cohesion affirms diversity. The common ground is accepting the differences but working together and moving forward simultaneously. Cohesion is a tangible compromise. It is a conciliation of interests; it is a conciliation of differences. Be different. Feel different. Anywise, feel close to your society. The more society is cohesive, the more it can improve.
